Compared to fiberglass, aluminum is more durable, resistant to impact and corrosion, and better suited for harsh weather conditions. Unlike stainless steel, aluminum caps are more lightweight, making them a practical choice for most truck owners. Additionally, aluminum caps can support additional weight on top and offer more customization options, such as tool racks and ventilation, without adding excessive weight to the truck.

Our products are designed for straightforward installation. Each order includes the necessary mounting hardware, and most installations can be completed with basic tools. You can follow our step-by-step installation guide or installation video available on the product page. Most customers are able to complete the installation in about 90-150 minutes. For the easiest and safest installation, we recommend having two people during the process. If you prefer, installation can also be done by a local shop or professional installer.

All Jusn-Design products come equipped with Universal Roof Rails on top of the cap, featuring four M8 square weld nuts per side for secure attachment points. We recommend consulting your local dealer to confirm compatibility with your specific rack. If you do not already have a rack, we also offer high-quality options designed specifically to fit our caps.

Yes, when properly assembled and installed, the JD10 provides a watertight and nearly dust-free seal. However, in some instances, water may seep in through the truck bed due to gaps between the inner and outer panels or uneven surfaces between the bulkhead (front panel) and the bed sides. To address this, we include a foam strip designed to fill any gaps caused by height differences, ensuring a secure fit.

We use M8-1.25 stainless steel square weld nuts.

The MOLLE panels on the Gullwing Doors of the JD10, when used with the supplied struts, are designed to support approximately 25 lbs while allowing the door to open and close properly. If additional weight is required, upgrading to larger struts will be necessary to ensure proper functionality and support.
